Buyer was a no go...and I already removed the rack. She's back up for sale now at $11,500
98' Lexus 470 with 1825xx miles
Brake master replaced by a prior owner.
Removal of ACH system (installed Toyota pocket in place of adjustment switch).
Old man Emu lift under 5k miles on the swap (torsion bars up front, heavy springs in back).
Dual swing out rear bumper (driver-side ladder and Jerry can, passenger is a full/over sized tire).
Rear (3rd row) climate.
Replaced double din stereo/head unit (bluetooth, MP3, DVD with switch for viewing while in motion, USB input, 3.5mm jack input).
HID fog lights.
Trail Taylor rock sliders (bolt on units, can be welded).
18"wheels with Firestone tires that include transferable warranty.
Full size spare with BRAND NEW Firestone meat to match.
Timing belt, water pump, accessory belts and oil change under 500 miles ago.
Front leather seats are probably the best seats you'll find ANYWHERE that haven not been replaced/recovered.
If I remember from the last time I drove it, I'm somewhere around 182,400 miles.
Trailer/towing package.
This truck has never been outside of Colorado.
Storage box in back (Police SUV edition) and Yakima spare tire bike rack (if pictured) will stay with me unless you make a suitable offer.
What doesn't work:
Tilt steering motor went out (apparently common in the Lexus 100).
Primary radio antenna is stuck in the down position. The motor runs on start up and when you turn the truck off (you still get reception with the secondary window mounted antenna). Prior owner clipped the passenger side mirror on something and the shell has some repaired cracking.
That's my full disclosure...not too shabby!
This rig has gone ALL OVER CO with my daughter and I for camping trips. Previous owner had a run-in with a garbage can in his underground parking garage (passenger rear view mirror has cracks and a front passenger wheel well abrasion).
I've never left a rig in a condition worse than I found it...This one would be a show pony of that point. I also have NOT listed it anywhere else other than the local club site. If and when I do, I will have it detailed including a color buff (she's the dark green option).
This is the truck I wish I could have grabbed when I lived in MN. I had to move 950 miles away from "home" to find a truck that wasn't riddled with rust.
You'll love this rig!"
My Wife said my trucks are too big for her. I sent her this pic on the 24th...yes, those H2 shackles are in plastic!
