To buy or not to buy 06 LC

Hi folks. New to the forum. I work at a Toyota dealership. Just took in a 2006 land cruiser owned by a little old lady. She kept it maintained every 3k but never washed it....ever. The paint is still good just needs a massive detail job. Here's the kicker. She only put 25k miles on it. No one ever sat in it but her so the pasg seat and all rear seats are truly like they were in 06. There are a few other things like needs tires and a dent in the tailgate needs fixing ($300). Having driven a few of these but never owning my question is, is it worth it to bite the bullet and buy the thing. My family doesn't need a 3rd vehicle but this thing seems like a diamond in the rough and I can buy it for $23000. Hard to pass up. Thoughts ??

For 23k dollars put 23k miles on it new tires a detail job and fix that dent and sell it for 26-27,000 next year.... No brainier to me

Provided provenance is as described, that is a phenomenal deal. To find one with that kind of mileage is exceedingly rare. With most vehicles mileage that low would be a red flag, but LC's are something else.

Working at a dealership, you can find out pretty easily what it'd sell for to the general public. With that said, buy the damn thing!

I'm sure the price is based on the fact you work at the dealer. Would probably before for the general public.

If you can't bring yourself to purchase it, like many others, I'd be interested (even if the price goes up some since I am not a dealer employee).

Thanks guys. It was on the lift today frame and everything else looks good. Going to buy it tomorrow. Always thought my midlife crisis ride would be a BMW motorcycle. I'll take this. Will post photos if I can figure out how to do that from phone.
