SOLD TN: Front Bench seats for '71-'72 FJ40

These seats are in pretty dang good condition. Some animal did open an area and pack acorns for several winters. The last time these seats were used was 20 years ago. The truck and all parts have been indoors for all those years. I was the last to sit in the seats 20 years ago. These are from my re-purchase and I'm going a different rout in seating.

The back pans are in amazing condition. The bottom sheet metal is just as good on the driver's seat but moderately rusted on the bench side. Frames are good too. Asking $500 for the enchilada.

Just for potential buyers, these are 1971 fj40 seats! Not correct for a 45! Not sure how they were mounted in your 45?

Thanks for the knowledge @whitey45 . These came in the back of the 45 when I got it back. I only drove the truck 2 times before I began to take it apart 2 decades ago so the seats may have been swapped. 20 years is a long time for my lousy memory. ( I actually did think the seats were salmon colored and was pleasantly surprised when they were tan. So there's that. )

i believe these are 72 seats. 71 would still be the 60/40 bench style.

Wow. Two sets of these. Same stinking' years too. What are the odds of that? I didn't purchase either of these. They both came with projects. Didn't match either one either. Wow.

Anybody with a '71 or '72 needing better seats, these are a great find. Tell you what, I'll combine the two sets for a near perfect set with spares. The only thing bad for one set is the bottom sheet metal for the passenger 60% side. Rusted on one, missing on the other. Otherwise, a very solid set. Make me an offer for both sets.

I don't have the bottom to this set. It was used for customizing the rack for my last project. The material is near perfect on 3 of the 4 pieces. The door side of the driver's seat bottom is torn. That same section has some surface rust on the bottom. No cancer though. Could be cleaned up nicely.

Make me a decent offer.

Good question Tim!

I bought the seats from Rainman back in March 2020 at the start of the whole covid mess. Needless to say it put a delay in our ability to coordinate delivery regardless of the fact I sent full payment via Venmo. If anyone knows how to reach Rainman, please help!

The last 2 messages in August of this year have gone unanswered. I'd really like to get my seats delivered...
