Yep, that's right, folks. It's that time of year again, when we open nominations for positions within this great club. This years positions up for nomination are:

President- Ross has been nominated, and accepted.
AVP- Nick has been renominated, and accepted.
MSVP- Jeff has been renominated, and declined the nomination.
Treasurer- Casey has been renominated, and accepted
Central Mountain Individual Rep
Eastern Individual Rep- Chuck has elected to step out, and give another member the chance to serve in this position.

Please make your nominations here, and we will keep an eye on that. Nominations close in November, and Elections are in December.

Thanks to each of the folks currently serving these roles, and thanks to everyone that takes a moment to nominate someone, and help the club keep on keeping on.
Our members are the best!!!

Treasurer

Sorry guys, I completely forgot the meeting last night. I will listen to the recording and answer any questions about finances that may have come up.

I would be happy and honored to continue to serve as TLCA's Treasurer.

Thanks!
Casey

TLCA member #9280 nominates Ross Woody to be the next TLCA President.

As we continue to move forward as a member-based organization, Ross will provide the vision and the leadership to bridge the gap between the past, the present and the future. I hope that Ross will accept the nomination and that you will engage him in conversation related to his qualifications to lead the TLCA.

Thanks.

TJK

Thank You Todd

In the words of Casey, I would be happy and honored to serve as the President of TLCA.

Many people know me, or know of me. I've been involved with Land Cruisers and TLCA since 1997, and joined the Land Cruiser Mailing List back in 1995 (?). I joined Pacific Mountain Cruisers and have served them as Fun Day committee Chairman and President for 2 years. I have been cooking at Rubithon for 10 years, and part of the committee for the last 8. I've served TLCA as Western Rep and I'm currently the Secretary.

I've been very fortunate to have met many TLCA members over the years through my involvement with PMC, Rubithon, Surf-n-Turf and attending events like McGrew and Cruise Moab. I think these events are a great way for our members to meet and build relationships with other members.

I think the Board that we have in place is seasoned and stable. I'm encouraged by those that are running again, and hope that we can find others to fill the remaining open positions. I encourage anyone who is interested to step up and fill an opening - MSVP, Eastern Rep or Central Rep.

Thank You

Great news Ross, You will be able to give us a TLCA update at the 25th TLCA Rubithon!

Very cool!
Thanks Ross (and Todd) and Casey. It means so much that folks are willing to step up and help herd all our cats.
LOL

This is a great bunch of folks,
Happy Trails! N

I would like to nominate Justin Ward for MSVP. Justin has always been an asset to the TLCA.

I just got back from the Southern Cruiser Crawl 2012, and I got to see some fine folks. I sat with Art Schramm during the raffle and learned all about fine spirits (Art's got lots o' spirit). ;)

I spoke with Perry Lowry and he agreed to run for Secretary. Perry wants to become more active on the BOD and Secretary is a good place to be.

Of course, that means everybody needs to canvas their chapters to help us fill the C&M IR as well as the Eastern IR slots.

Thanks and Happy Trails! N

P.S. Perry is the pirate on the left. ;)

I would also be honored to serve as secretary. I have been a member of Lone Star and TLCA since 2006. I currently serve as Central and Mountain IR and was the chapter rep prior to serving as IR.
In the past few years, I have only missed two call ins and I look forward to taking a more prominent role in TLCA.

Thanks,

Perry Lowery

If I can second this, I second this.

I just spoke with Josh Marten with Lone Star and he agrees to run for the Central & Mountain IR position.
Yay!!

He's been a member of TLCA since 2009 (#19322) and he drives a 95 80 series. Thanks to Josh for stepping up to help TLCA.

Happy Trails! N

Happy to do it Nick and group! Looking very forward to talking with you all and the prospect of being part of the organization.

The latest update folks....
Justin posted on BODREPS that he's declining to be MSVP. Today on BODREPS, Bill Wright has agreed to run for the MSVP position. Bill is the mover behind the TLCA belt buckle idea. Big thanks to Bill!

We've got some new folks and we have some returning veterans. Kudos to all, TLCA needs everyone to step up and help.

We will hold the election at the December meeting on December 27th.
