@Deny I still toss up the idea of trying to find one again but then I have to bring myself back to reality and I should focus on really just finishing and enjoying my 77. Maybe at some point when my house and shop are built i can get a true toy cruiser.... Thats a LONG ways away though.

Yeah, its just such a good looking carcass to start with. Overpriced I think, unfortunately.

I agree though that is one of the cleanest untouched 40's I've seen in a very long time.

It was a FJ40 that was brought up from Washington State. Body in quite good shape. Had a 3B added and some other
stuff. Lots of parts, seemed to be a viable project. Asking $8K, which was kind of high. But it would seem it has sold,
so I guess not. It got a lot of attention from the Coastal Cruiser guys. One of those trucks that was certainly worth
looking at seriously if one wanted a good solid platform to work/begin with.

I emailed them, just thought I'd ask if they wanted to trade for an 80.. Would u guys do that? - I don't know if I would want to trade.. I really like the cloth interior in mine and lots about mine, and 100's seem to get about the same gas mileage.. . I thought they were part time 2 wheel drive/ would get better mileage.
