$$$, but if you do get this Nick, we'll do the conversion in my shop. I figure it'd go pretty quick.

Hey guys, yeah basically lack of $$ is stopping me. Also, my 2LTE is running like a champ, so it's hard to justify something like this (as much as I think the 13BT is the best 'small' Toyota diesel out there and would rock in a Prado - I'd love to have a DI engine).
I'd probably do the swap on a mint body Prado if I did. Mines starting to look a little rough after a couple years of west coast wheeling. I think this one with the 13BT and an H55 would be a wicked little Rig: http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/pml/cto/4482134617.html Could probably recover quite a bit of $$ by selling the 2LTE.
Thanks for the offer to use your shop Jon!
They don't actually fit without putting the heavy duty front clip on do they? if so you almost need a 70 series as a parts truck for that front couple feet of frame etc.
And then there's the low ass gearing to deal with that would have a B howling on the highway...
(yes I've thought about this conversion.)
My guess is: 1 Ton Toyota... Likely means stock axle for a Fj45 = stock axle. If that's the case, pretty weak for 44s.http://www.kijiji.ca/v-cars-trucks/...er/1004311438?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true
Monster fj for sale, i dont think a stock dana 60 could handle the power of a 383 and 44 inch tires though, and no idea what the front axle would be.

Leaf springs? They look a tad tall and stiff. Or maybe its the small wheel/tires
some douchebaggery going on apparently. Mainlanders. Yeesh.

The $1500 deal probably went down when the seller was drunk...And who lets their vehicle(s) go before being payed in full?
I don't really have that much sympathy to be honest.
dunno. he says they took the trucks while he was at work. that would have me pretty choked.
