Seen guys put that Syncro system behind the VR6's and the VR's just break stuff.... the TDI on the other hand might just be a good match. None the less, they were rare birds back in the day and now they must be impossible to find parts for.

Cheap HDJ81

I still can believe how affordable these rigs can be:

You could not give me one of those trucks, 2LTE=ticking time bomb.. Iffin it had a 1hz..;)

pfft.

cuz buying 40 dollar oil filters and waiting for parts for months from australia for your butt ugly wrong hand drive truck is sooo much fun. :flipoff2:

Not to mention the hours of fun you'd have if you broke one of those rear corner windows...

I'd take one for free. :grinpimp:

^Oh the love..... :D

Never mind, looked at it this morning... (not serious, but it was close to my house, so why not...) Quite rusty. Even the frame is rusty. Not as bad as your typical 60 but going that direction.

Not sure if I should be offended by that...

Flagged for removal...so guessing it was a scam.

You wouldn't have wanted it, probably had a solid frame. :flipoff2:

You into the bean juice or just being mean...:D

Jay rode up on his bike and we headed up to Courtenay in my vw, looked at yet another rust to f a w k BJ60...

He just left my house on his KLR a little miffed, thought he was going to be getting a wagon..

Wow, those are genuine factory Toyota 16x8 80-series-specific steel wheels!!! Extremely rare on American trucks... Still doesn't justify $6k for an old truck with a 3F-E engine though.

You are quite right about the fuel consumption... We averaged 18 L/100 km with the "more efficient" 1FZ-FE engine in our white truck. I'd post some comparison numbers since my swap but.... my fuel gauge is still stuck on "F" so I haven't been able to calculate the economy yet :flipoff2:

Yeah, the rims are cool. Couldn't afford the fuel bill tho, and even if I could, it would piss me off.

I saw the ad on my phone and had to squint like a bastard to see where the steering wheel was:lol:

Five speed H55 could be worth a drive..

Pop that in the cheap 80 with the 1HZ swap you were talking about! And you'll have a proper 5th gear :) Mine screams pretty loud on the highway.... hoping to get higher diff gears soon.
