Seen guys put that Syncro system behind the VR6's and the VR's just break stuff.... the TDI on the other hand might just be a good match. None the less, they were rare birds back in the day and now they must be impossible to find parts for.

Now that I've put so much effort into my 80 that I'll never want to scratch it...... 70 series bush truck?
Never mind, looked at it this morning... (not serious, but it was close to my house, so why not...) Quite rusty. Even the frame is rusty. Not as bad as your typical 60 but going that direction.

In seattle, but a crazy good price for a clean looking 40
Flagged for removal...so guessing it was a scam.
You wouldn't have wanted it, probably had a solid frame.![]()

added bonus is it can burn it's own weight in gasoline every week.
You into the bean juice or just being mean.....
Wow, those are genuine factory Toyota 16x8 80-series-specific steel wheels!!! Extremely rare on American trucks... Still doesn't justify $6k for an old truck with a 3F-E engine though.
You are quite right about the fuel consumption... We averaged 18 L/100 km with the "more efficient" 1FZ-FE engine in our white truck. I'd post some comparison numbers since my swap but.... my fuel gauge is still stuck on "F" so I haven't been able to calculate the economy yet![]()
