"sigh" Just when I'm cruiserless and don't really want one, he has to post this old girl up for sale again.

Nice truck, despite some of the dubious characters who've owned it in the past.

Dunno.... getting an old truck back isn't my thing. Kinda like dating an ex-girlfriend after she's been with other dudes.

Logically speaking, it doesn't really make any sense..... but then again many gross things don't. Crabs for instance, I don't eat them because they bloody terrify me with their gross-ness, I'm sure everyone is right in saying they are delicious but it doesn't mean Ill ever try one.

Perhaps eating an ex-grilfriend with crabs......(puked a little.....nevermind)

:hhmm:this is an interesting form of logic...from buying an old truck to creepy crawly carpet munching all in one breath...(an exhale I'm guessing...:flipoff2:)

but no, exes are exes for a reason. I was never big on the " it's not you it's me" line

"you're ******* right it's you" was more my style.

at the moment this business of der schizenwagen never needing fuel is kinda refreshing. so until that wears off, I'm ok with plain old transportation,

but back to this phobia of crabs and crabby exes.... what do you think the chances are of you NOT waking up with a nice big dungeness in the tent at some point now?

I'm thinkin' ZERO.:hillbilly:

it does sound like brutus... but it could be a late 73 which would be a 74..
that was how much brutus was going for last year

Oh this might tempt the cruiser-less near by!
Than again probally not, im sure you have already owned this one at some point.:D

V8. Pardon me while the wave of nausea passes.

I'm just surprized I haven't seen it around in years, I saw it when I first moved here. Can't be that far away ...which makes it at least 3 rusty old 45's in chemainus...

Kinda pricy tho. It's basically just a crappy chevy now except with a worse suspension, tiny cab, and 4 gallons of barn paint applied with bucket and broom. Also appears to have the classic 45 sag in the middle, which hopefully is just that the box wasn't put on straight...(tho probably not)

I'm going to go be negative as fxxx about something else now...:hillbilly:

Ryan-seeing how it is your backyard you should go over and scope it out and report back to us low islanders that are afraid to cross over the Malahat all the way to Chemainus.

You know, the "wrong turn" movie series were not actually documentaries set in gold stream. :flipoff2:

I could check it out if someone really wanted tho.

Coming along

Possibly a good candidate for a gayectomy/diesel transplant.

More together than the last time I saw it. It's a shame they didn't paint the firewall, dash, and inside of the hardtop the same colour before beginning to reassemble it.

I've seen it in person... From the curb in front of the guys house, and It appears to be in as good shape as the pictures make it look. It's not just a 20 foot paint job... At least the part that is painted.

Also too bad about the spare tire mounted to its side.

Too bad I'm cheap, broke, and don't like the colour. Otherwise it'd be perfect.
