1997 Lexus LX 450 North Saanich & Sidney , Victoria

I checked this one out when I was looking for a landcruiser a few months ago. It looks decent from about 30 feet away, but upon closer inspection, it's evident that a lot of shoddy body work was done on it. Must have had quite a bit of rust at one point (and perhaps still does under the bondo). Frame and drive train are not too rusty though. It's clear a LOT of maintenance/restoration needs to be done.

Explains the decent price.

1982 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser Oak Bay, Victoria

On the market again... Seems a little pricy in this market.

"1982 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser; 86000 miles (I imported it from the US about 10 years ago)
aluminum tub, fenders, tail gate; Cool Cruisers of Texas 4" Hell for Stout springs and shocks; 33" x 12 x 15 tires; factory power steering; brand new starter; original 2f motor; hard top is in rough shape and I have the ambulance doors in my basement right now; the floor pan/firewall on the drivers side is in bad shape where the aluminum tub meets the firewall and the windshield is in rough shape and should be replaced (extremebends.com in Vancouver sells them for $420); also, i have stripped down the area below the kick vents as it has some rusty areas."

This one is sold. I picked it up a while ago. If anyone cares it's nice. Well parts of it are and it is missing quite a few bits to make it complete. Looking for a 2b manual for it. I'd of offered less looking at it now but when it's dark and raining you mostly pull out some good learning experiences. Still no regrets though

Cool, thought it sounded like a good deal. I'd have checked it out if the ferries didn't essentially double the price...

For the manual, pretty sure the 3b manuals I've had said 2b & 3b on them...

Decent price on a HDJ81 Limited. Wow, $1,000 for a tow hitch. Obviously Van Isle Joe got a good deal from me! :hillbilly:

Poor bastard...

looks like he's getting the value of it confused with HD 70 landcruisers.

If someone got it cheap enough and had a 3B laying around, it might be worth a swap. Other than the engine, the LJ78's are pretty sweet ( I love mine anyhow ).
