I spoke with him today and yesterday... turns out it's got the 6.5L. Too big to fit :frown: . Price was sooooo right!

I came across this Hino guide to engine models. Seems like the early 90s Hino 'FA' or 'FB' model is the one to look for if you're interested in the Toyota B related W04 motors. I'm not sure anyone has actually tried putting one in a landcruiser or not.

So for example, this truck in Vancouver should have the W04 engine series. Low kms too. 1992 Hino FB Cab and Chassis (20-175) - cars & trucks - by dealer

How long would the deck be on that thing? Coils or leafs on the front suspension?

I’m considering a GPS independent of my phone... although I’m cheap so I don’t know how far I’ll get.

$50 for all 4

They’re hubcentric snd won’t fit my truck. I’d have bought them if they would clear my FF rear hubs.

Jeez. Dude must not be paying attention. That's worth 40k more in Lake Cowichan.

But to NOT take the piss out of PZ for once...(it won't last)

3bii...the head he found might have been the last one in existence. Those things make the rest of our junk look common.

My 13BT and extra 12" of body are worth at least $20k man...c'mon! Also, zero offers so far on mine so y'all can continue to use me as the butt end of your jokes 🤣. I'm actually considering splashing a new paint job on mine...I'm really liking that pastel grey the new Tacoma's have on them. Make it all shiny for those potential buyers that like shiny things 🤟

I like some of the new Taco colors too. I agree they'd suit older cruisers very well. Had some similar thoughts myself....

Yeah me too.

My 60 is going to need a squirt sooner than later. Lots of spots to fix,and I won't be able to keep the decals alive much longer. It'd be easier to spray the whole thing one colour, maybe leave the roof white or something.

Some variation of grey. I do like the blue/grey colour that was on my old 70 too.

Maybe next year. For now I just want to do some touch-ups to kill (or at least maim) the rust

Too fancy for me.

These Prado's don't share anything in common with Landcruisers. It's more 3rd gen 4Runner than anything...which are decent trucks too. The Prado taller roof is nice tho. These gen Prados with the direct injection 3.0 diesel 1KD-FTV would be the one to go for if you wanted something 4Runner-ish but diesel.

The old 70 series Prados (like mine) are mostly landcruiser besides the s***ty little diesel.
