Clean looking M101... if it was half the price I would buy it!

http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/van/pts/3683783646.html

I think the days of getting these for less than 1K are long gone... especially when you look at what your conventional plywood POS's are going for on craigslist...

I had a look at this one today, and as the pics suggest it is unmodified and rust free... there was some surface rust on the front bulkhead seams, and it looked like someone had dollied out some of the sheet metal on the bulkhead, and one of the fenders... the floor had the usual waves... the paint was ok-ish... the hubs had been recently rebuilt... the lid was functional, but too light duty to support a RTT... and he was willing to throw in a pintle receiver as part of the deal...

I offered him 1600, but he refused to budge on his 2K price... :bang:

Let him sit on it then, sounds like he is just fishing then. I have a line on a M101A1 3/4 tonne that looks mint for a fair deal but I just think its a little too big :(

^^ Adict.... Buy it :p

Is that a new one, I swear I have seen something similar on the list before.

Yes. The other one had a different bumper on the front. The poster screwed up on posting it in the wrong section and has not realized it yet. I wonder if he'd like to trade it for a Camry.

I drove my wife's rig last night into Van to pick up my kid and then to tour the family around Stanley park and Van a night. Even with crapped out shocks and suspension, it still rides better than the Camry at nearly twice the kms and over twice the age. It has far superior visibility 360 degrees. It just doesn't go up Johnson Hill as fast as the Camry. A turbo would fix that. :)

Anyways, I first have to finish putting back together my 5 spd. Instead of doing that, i spent the weekend fixing crap around the house. :bang:
