It really is amazing how far people will go in an attempt to scam people. Unless this person is an avid cruiser lover like us...and a part time dirt bag these people spend countless hours scouring the internet for matching photos as well as information about the trucks...

Time they could spend getting a real honest job. Wow.:bang:

Web site worked for me.

It was a placeholder web site when I looked at it - all under construction. I see he even has a FB page now. Seems to be legit but he still won't win the "Truth in Advertising" award, especiall when it comes to talk of rust. Got love this one on the rare BJ60: http://cccruisers.com/inventory/269-2/. I wonder if any MUD folks know him? Something for chat hounds to play with.

“million mile” 3B’s... Maybe a little optimistic

Two 40s

Not on CL. But heard about it when I was in Princeton last weekend so I went to look at them thinking it would be a good project for my son. One is complete with a 2F. Body / tub rust looks bad. It needs a new clutch but is still functional. The parts rig is a "better" body with the rear of tub rusting on the lip for the ambulance doors. It does not have any running gear. It looks decent from far away but also showing cracks in the bondo.

:hmm: I decided it was too much of a first project for my son. The owner, Ken Gibson, is asking $800 for the two of them. I suspect he may take $600-$400. He has too many projects. I told him that I'd let the Cruiser Heads know. Here is his contact info:

This may tempt a few people to the dark side. :skull: The price certainly is good. What is very unique about this Safari is that it is a base model with manual window winders - the first I have ever seen like this.

more poo than troll...

nice enough little pootroll there.

Ya, I like the wipe clean vinyl. But I don't like those bush hook mirror arms. If the engine is in good condition, it is worth more than the asking price in engine and tranny alone. If it was a 5 spd, I'd have to consider dipping into the line of credit and/or selling the Camry.
