Had I kept it I'd have painted the red areas a darker grey than the top. Think that would've looked ok.
As for price, yeesh, mine sold for less than half that. Had all the same stuff, not quite as fresh looking tho.
Depreciation has hit those 81's harder than any of the other cruisers I think.
The silver burgundy ones are gross
Your old 81 went to kitimat I run into it here and there
81s fit the bill for 90% of cruiser owners
The other 10% are after something a bit more rugged
