1966 Nissan (Datsun) Patrol

had to crosspost this, for them patrol fellers....

Thx.

BTW, that is a K60 in good condition and a steal of a deal if the restoration is as good as the pictures make it look. The K60 is quite similar to an FJ40. Here is some extra data on the K60 for anyone interested: earlydatsun.com. The Americans have quite a group of Patrol 60 series collectors. Generally one in good condition will go for between $10,000 and $20,000 US. There have been a few posted for sale here on mud.

Haha, yeah, you were pretty much the patrol feller I was referring to..

Definately a cool rig. Haven't seen one up here before.

That'd be a great father/son project for you John .

Yes, a good father project if I had the money. I'd rather have my son bash up something like my Safari (that he pays for) than a classic like that one. If he is anything like me, he will crash it the first day he has it. My first wheels at 16 was a 76 Chev 3/4T 4x4. I hadn't had it 6 hours before I took it wheeling and ran a snag through the light, battery and into the firewall. Damn thing jumped right off the bank at me.

I figured you were referring to me. Deny posted up one a couple years ago that I think was listed at around $600. It was in rough shape but included a nice winch. There is another one in Grants Pass for $2600 but much rougher than the one you posted. Like I said, if it is as good as it looks, one could flip it and make a bit of cash. But it takes money to make money. Right now the family and bills make that impossible for me. :meh:

Proposterous! I would not do such a thing like post ads or photos of Lada's and Datsuns on a Landcruiser Forum! :hillbilly: I did see a decent looking postal truck looking thing like the potatoe posted a couple weeks ago here in Fort St. John, it was jacked up and all, however not sure if it was an old datsun because the roof was off and not sure if that was an option on them?

I stand corrected Deny: https://forum.ih8mud.com/ca-bc-coastal-cruisers/279483-may-interest-some-one-craigs-list-find.html. It was Toynut who posted it. You just commented that your drove by it for 25 years. Those old 1950-60 era Cruisers and Patrols did look a lot like postal trucks - some may even say like an early Jeep. ;) As for roof chop modded postal truck, after reading this thread, https://forum.ih8mud.com/ca-bc-peace-canyon-toyota-swamp-donkeys/314017-one-kind-ne-bc-vehicles.html, it doesn't surprise me you'd see something like that on the road up there. :D

:D:D funny

Wow! Deja vu, except I scored 10" Chevy rims... those rims are on the 60 now
