Hey guys,

Does anyone have a good guide for installing the bumper on a Land Cruiser or even better, a copy of the instructions from TJM?

I am looking to put a TJM bull bar on my LX570. I am trying to figure out what would be different with the installation on the LX.

I have seen an ARB mounted on an LX570 and know some of the issues with the ARB. Do you think I would have similar issues with the TJM? (The reason that I want the TJM over the ARB is that the ARB sticks out further from the grill and I don't think looks as sleek.

I have the TJM front bumper and it was very very easy to install. There is no cutting of the original bumper like the ARB. Just contact TJM directly and they will send you a PDF of the directions. It can be done with a friend and about 3 hours of work.

Do you know their email address? I was unable to find it on their site.

Are you planning on putting on the Bull Bar or the T13 Bumper?

pdxlc200 ... got any pictures of your setup?

Here are some pics of the install with a TJM winch install. The cradle goes in first, then the winch, then you bolt the bumper on the cradle via 4 bolts. Make sure to use 1/2 inch plywood to make your gapping large enough and uniform when you do the install. Once everything is on tight, drill an extra hole on either side (you can see the hole I drilled in image two between the two slotted holes) as an added reinforcement. You have to supply the last two bolts... I made mine the same size as the bolts that came with the bumper.

I bought it from Landcruisers NW. It's the old style before the update to the fog lights, but other than that the exact same.

Bringing up an "old" thread...

On my 2018 LC, I have a TJM front bumper and the fog lights are like pointing towards Mars. Can anyone confirm whether this is an install issue with the lights or is there an adjustment that I can then point these things down to where they should be? Also, does anyone know what the max height at a given distance these should be aimed for?

We are now getting rain and snow and I'd like to be able to use the fog lights but just need to get them aimed correctly this weekend.
Thanks!

What are you doing for suspension support , Bumper weight is listed at 250lbs , I just ordered one and combined with a winch over 300lbs extra weight .

The truck has a Tough Dog suspension lift.
