Lookin for a solid set of mud radials for my 2000 Crusier. Gonna be in the snow more than the mud, but my buddy say the mud radials perform better in the snow as opposed to all-terrain's.

Any Suggestions??

FYI: My MT/R's are OK in snow...but not so on ice. Maybe siping would help. You didn't state what size you are or will run. Nokian, based upon several of their models and a half-a-dozen sets over the years on Saab's, is the cat's meow for studless snow & ice radials. Do a search on 'MUD because I seem to remember a Nokian discussion somewhere here...

If this is a dedicated off road vehicle go with the MT/R's, as Spresso mentioned. If not, do a search on Bridgestone Revos. In my experience, excellent in the snow and a much better hiway ride. Others really like the BFG TKO's. Also check out the Tire rack web site for reviews.
