I am in need of advice, my cruiser needs tires now! It has stock suspension that is not bad, but i dont have time to put a 3" lift for a couple of months, i don't plan on wheeling it until i get my lift on the new tires. My question to everyone is if i go with a smaller tire 31, will it look funny once i put the lift on, what is the biggest tire i can safely put on, until i have time for the lift?
Sorry for beating this issue again

32 X 11.50 is a good tire size for on/off road and should work as long as you don't wheel it too hard. Avail in MTRs and BFG ATs.

I ran 31's for a year w/my 3" lift and while it looked better with the lift than w/out, the 31's looked too small to me. (Same situation as yours - needed tires before I had the time and money to do the lift.) I think 32X11.50's look good on both stock and lifted, though it seems like they should be a bit too wide for stock 6" wide wheels. One option is to run 33X9.50, which work on both stock and lifted trucks. Some like the look, some don't. I use them because they fit on stock rims, and work great in rain/ice/snow. That said, I think wider looks better. There are lots of posts on tires, and nearly as many opinions as there are options.

37's baby.

33X9.5 bfg at ko's

they look great on a stock rig and the tuck in and under just fine when wheeling... i have them on a 60 and a 62...

landpimp and others swear by them... they give the truck a bit of a retro look...

I'm using 50mm (2.5") lifted springs and I just bought a set of 31" mudders.

Sure, I deliberated between looks and drivability.
But since these mud tires are fairly true to size, heavier than all terrains, and that I have 3.7 gears, I chose drivability over looks. Yet, in the end, I'm satisfied with the looks too. The mud tires have over the shoulder lugs and rim protectors that give 'em a more aggressive look.

Just my personal opinion. I think 31" are at the edge of the envelope for my kind of driving, without a gearing change or more powerful motor.
If you've got a 62 with 4.1 gears otoh, you'll be fine.
