Hello folks,

Got my wheels from stockton in time for the duck hunting opener here in washington. Took my son as he did not want me to leave without him. Good times. A quick pick with him in the front. My kids love the rig.

Tires tuck under there sweet, the stockton wheels are series 20's with 3 and 7/8ths backspacing. It's the closest they could get. I love the look. I do still hit the steering rod, turning left, but not bad.

The goodyear tires are awsome! yes goodyear wrangler at's still come in 255/85 16's. Yes, they are spendy but worth it. Local goodyear shops don't show it being made anymore so ask for product code is 740-262-471. They are worth it.

I looked at toyos, coopers, bfg's, and these came out on top.

I did notice that my temp gauge gets close to that 3/4 hot mark when going up the pass. I take it that's normal? i remember my old datsun pickup used to do the same.

yes i was light on the pedal. In third gear, SLOW. Man i had loaded 18wheelers passing me......

They look great. Can I ask what the wheels set you back? That's exactly what I want to run on my LPB

rims

The rims are 16x7's from stockton wheel, 5 rims to my door: 810.00. I know, a bit pricey, but they are stout, perfect, re-paintable and amazing.

There are few manufactures that make stock rims under 4.0 backspace. So if you want a tall skinny to be tucked under the wheel wells. These really are your babies. The 22's they make are good as well, but i was going for the military basic look.

anything else let me know. Also if you call stockton ask for Glenn, he really took care of me. A lot of folks posted up about them being late on delivery, but i had no issues. delivered, on time.....

Thanks for the info. They really look good.

X4... Those look amazing... Great looking troopy, makes me crave a resto on my 45, but somehow I still love the chipped and worn paint job. It blends with the fall colors!:hillbilly:

They look great. Excuse my ignorance, but will stock hubcaps fit? That would be the icing on the cake.

stockton will take your 15" stockers and cut out the centers and re-use them in either 15 or 16" rims, thus, letting you use your hubcaps.

I appreciate that and it would work if I had stockers to give them, but the troopy came with those white Jackman style wheels.

thats probably the better route to go. i believe the basis for their 20 series wheels were the old chevy rims. they definately know how to do wheels though. send them pictures and ask em.

I just checked their site and it looks like they are hoping to open under new ownership in the next few weeks. I'm hoping so because I was counting on getting some wheels made for my truck. It would be a shame for that business to go under as they provided a great service. Hopefully they reopen and can avoid the problems they seem to have had regarding poor customer service in the later years.
