Looking to get new tires for our Sequoia, I would love to go with BFG KM2's but this rig won't be seeing any mud. I have a source on Michelin LTX or uniroyal laredos both tires are m+s, any opinions?

Thanks.

If you want longevity it is hard to beat a set of Michelin's. I have had excellent luck with BFG AT KO's over the years and those are what I have currently on my DD. With the weight of a Sequoia just about any MT is going to wear fast, so a AT with a harder compound is going to be your best bet besides a true high mileage tire like the Michelin's.

I swapped out some Toyo A/Ts in 265/65/17 (which were great) w/ a set of BFG A/T KOs in 265/70/17 and then subsequently swapped the BFGs for Michelin LTX AT2's which are on my truck now. I can tell you that I lost about 3mpg with the BFG ATs and the Michelin LTX AT2's are a fantastic tire w/ a bit more aggressive tread than the normal LTX. I gained back all of the MPG's lost, even w/ the larger diameter and the ride is far better w/ the Michelins too.

What do you guys think of $550 for a set of Michelin LTX's installed with 7400 miles on them?
