Tire swap

Suppose I'll post this here since I hang here most of the time...

My wife's 99 Ford explorer needs new tread and I want to go 33s on the cruiser. Currently I am running BFG ATs 31X10.50s on the cruiser and they have perfect tread. I measured the ford wheels; they were ~16 in rims. This is my way of upgrading the Cruiser .

1. Will the 31s fit on the Ford Explorer?
2. If they do, will it function o.k.?

Any thoughts.

Unless you have 16" wheels on the 60, they will not fit. Stock 60/62 wheels are 15".

The 31x10.5 size would probably fit the Exploder, but only if they were 16".

If I misunderstood your question, I apologize-- its still early here.

Yup, I beleive the Exploder wheels are 16". I guess no swap.
