While looking into what my next tires will be I stumbled upon a pretty cool tire comparison tool. The software is a little old and won't be 100% accurate compared to manufacturers specs but it will be pretty close. For people considering 16", 17" or 18" wheels/rims, this will give you a good idea of size differences...

What is the stock tire size? I bought my LX with 285's all ready on it? I have looked a couple of times I think it is 265/75/16?

I assume your LX470 is a 2000 based on your signature line? If so the stock tire size would've been 265/75/16...

Thanks Hoser for the web based tool! Even better web based tool with up to 4 comparisons at a time plus the visual if you check the box!

If you had 16" wheels, the stock size is 275/70R16. Check the DS front door jamb sticker.....
