Tire PSI help needed

what would the reccomended cold tire PSI be for a Michelin Defender LTX M/S 285/R60/18 be for a LC? just realized these may not be stock so my 33psi may be underinflated?

Yes, it sounds like you are way off @50psi

You're not giving me a lot of info, so I'm forced to make some assumptions. If any of these assumptions are incorrect, then the tire pressure recommendation I'm about to give may be wrong - so correct me if I'm wrong:

You are asking about 285/60R18/XL 120H Michelin Defender LTX M/S tires, correct?
You are mounting them on a LC200 and NOT an LX570, correct?

If both these assumptions are correct, then the RCTIP (Recommended Cold Tire Inflation Pressure) for those 285/60R18/XL 120H tires on your LC200 is 33psi F/R.

how do i tell if it is an XL? sorry i dont know much about this stuff. I went outside and looked at the writing on the tire and what i posted above is what it said.

Somewhere on the tire sidewall you should see the letters "XL" or the word "Reinforced" - the presence of either one indixates the tire is XL.

Second, Michelin only makes one variety of the Defender LTX M/S tire in size 285/60R18 and it has the following specifications:

Off-topic, but THAT Defender size is what i may get in the future....how's the ride and road noise??

Ride is great. Does great in the snow and ice. I have no complaints, BUT, i came from an 06 saturn ion so you can imagine the difference in both vehicles. 5 stars out of 5 haha..
