Ever since I bought my 4wd I have been trying to come up with a good way to handle the trash I find on the trails and the Wag Bags that me & my PETT (porta-potty) create. I think I am on to something interesting and with my upcoming 5000 mile 22 day adventure from Canada to Mexico there ought to be plenty of time to test things out.

The basic idea is just a big metal ammo type military can with a nice clamp on weather proof and more importantly odor & ant proof lid. Then I took 3 u-bolts a drill and a couple of rachet straps to make it all strong & secure.

The nice thing about this size can is that off the vehicle it is a great size for a camp trashcan also.

Great idea!....I'm fanatical about trail trash....Good luck!

I like it a lot. May try it myself, but just so I understand.....You've got 2 u-bolts on the top and 1 on the bottom...and then you use one strap & pass it thru all 3 to secure it to your spare ?? Correct ??

sorry I didn't explain it better
2 rachet straps for security
wheeled hard with it last night and held up great

Sweet idea!! Gonna fab one up for my rigs, thanks for the idea!!

Needs some type of biohazard decal

Find a friendly firefighter/EMT/hospital worker and have them hook you up w/some bio bags.

Or PM me w/addy and I'll send ya some. Might not be quite large enuf to fit the whole can, but at least the WagBags will have a good home.

Needs some type of biohazard decal
Stick a biohazard decal on it and drive around and you may need some permits. Best to leave the decal off.
