Sucks when this amount of tread is left.:frown:

Anyone want to wager a bet that these will haul 3 or 4 loads of wood this year?;)

That is key, time at speed is the killer. Just up the road a spell,,, slowly,,, may make it,,, maybe,,, not bettin anything.:hillbilly:

There's a whole country of potential buyers for those about an south of you.;)

I would say it depends on the ply of the tire. If they are nine or ten ply then I would say they would last. On a side note do you sell firewood?

No he doesn't, but he does heat his casa with it and it gets colder in podunk than it does in Tucson.

Think I've got any more miles on these? They're off a '66 VW ...

Those will be fine for a VW, it is not like it will run or anything?:hillbilly:

Just another advantage of living in Podunk. You would never think about using those in the big city. I wouldn't think twice about using those up north. A spare that holds air, a good jack and I'm happy.

X2 on your wood hauler. My first wife's dad had a 69 short box 4X4 I wanted. To bad we got divorced before I could convince him to sell it to me.:frown:

LOL, found the Discount certificates, Jan, '95 and only $159.99 ea...Someone needs to invent a preservative, we could have stocked up..

If it's not on the road and no large rocks, you may get 2 more seasons out of those! Nice wood hauler too!

Thanks, I like your optimism.:lol::cheers:

Bobbed '68 f250 highboy, now retired to provide fuel for the wood stove, hopefully a candiate for full restoration someday..

I just know that BFG's will run on the road on the steel belts once the rubber has peeled off, makes for good special effects on the highway... Redneck special effects was more like it.

how much would it take to buy that ford? my favorite classic truck of all time right there

Oh No!...That would be like giving away the family pooch!:hillbilly:

Seriously, it's been in the family since 1970..Kinda toying the idea of a 4bt someday. Father/son project? Who knows...
