Long awaited, it's finally here. A mounting system that uses a spare tire mount or tire carrier to hold a few extra goodies. The key to this design was to have it adjustable, lightweight, configurable and most importantly simple to take off! NO TOOLS REQUIRED to remove the mount to access your spare tire. It uses a safety pin (which can be swapped out for a trailer tongue lock if you want security) and large thumb screws to tighten it down for a rattle free mount. The depth is adjustable in half in increments from 5.75" to 8.25" to keep everything close and tight against the tire. The main base plate has slots to fit 2 Rotopaxs in a couple configurations or a 4 gallon tank. There are also many slots to give many options for bolting/strapping your goods. The Top Accessory Mount again has slots for mounting things like a CB antenna or flag, backup camera or reverse lights and finally a license plate mount.
There are so many possible combinations and possibilities with this system. This will work great with our tire carriers but this can fit just about any tire carrier. It is however, up to you to determine if your tire carrying system is able to hold the additional weight.
This is currently in early production. As always if you have a question, suggestion or request let me know! I've been looking at this thing until my eyes have crossed so you may see something that I can do to improve. I will keep this thread as up to date as I can. I plan to make a write up or video to go through how this works in detail.
