Tire and Rim Purchasing

Hey all!

First post on the VI forum. My name is Irah. I am new to Victoria. I purchased a 1981 BJ42 last summer, and have been enjoying so far. As I slowly get settled in I look forward to coming to meetings, and getting to know everyone.

So my first question is where is the best place to purchase a single rim and tire in Victoria? I have been driving around without a spare and figure it is time to quit pushing my luck.

It is 32 BFG MT on a white spoke american racing rim? not sure exactly on the rim. here is a photo.

for a spare rim and tire used would be ok, i would try island 4x4 clasified or used victoria Classifieds - Island4x4.com Message Board
i just had a quick look and didnt find a perfect match but it changes daily. Hope to see you at next meeting.

How wide is that rim?

I have a couple, they were on a 35 12.5 tire, so I think they're 10" ?( haven't measured...)

but new ones of those are pretty cheap I think.

Thanks guys. Yeah the rim is 10.5? i think. I assume that it shouldn't be an issue, just wondered if there is "go to" shop for them. cheers.
