Hello everyone,
Not the introduction post i'd have liked but ran into an issue changing the timing belt on my 2006 GX470. Very far from a mechanic but thanks to forums like these i've always felt pretty comfortable wrenching on my own vehicles and have done a timing belt in the past.
While removing the timing belt, after removing the tensioner and pulling the belt off the camshaft side wound up getting bumped off of the mark I had made. Pic below, the yellow marks are mine. The other two didn't move at all., just this side.
Before I make the situation worse - does anyone know what to do in this situation? Any help would be greatly appreciated and hopefully my mistake can help some other doofus in the future
