I have a 2uz I’m swapping, and have just started with the timing belt/water pump and the bolt for the #2 pulley is stuck and stripped. I’ve tried welding a larger nut on but because it’s recessed in the pulley, I can’t get it to weld. Is the pulley bolted to the oil pump, or to the block through the pump? I’d rather just replace the pump and be done with it if the pulley isn’t bolted to the block
