Planning on doing timing belt/water pump replacement on my 07 GX got about 120k after last service. Does this part list look about right? Should I get pulleys for serpentine belt? Anything else ?
Replace spark plugs as well? brake fluid? coolant? AHC?
My mechanic is "conservative" - i.e. if it looks reasonably good - do not change it. And he is reluctant with transmission fluid flush/refill. Thoughts on this? Car got 220k on it, no issues at this point.

This is a very good Asin (OEM quality) kit. I've installed 2 with no issues at all. It's a much better value than individual parts. No serpentine belt with this kit, but those are easy to find...

Most people buy the AISIN TKT-021 kit from RockAuto. Spark Plugs are super cheap. Coolant? Yes, you are taking the radiator off anyways. Brake fluid? Do it with a brake pads replacement. If your mechanic is reluctant on transmission fluid and never have this done, change the mechanic.

Thank you for feedback! Appreciate it! My mechanic' point of view is based on his experience of changing transmission fluid and seeing cars having issues. He works on all makes/models. I will talk to him about this.

My mechs at work thoughts on higher mileage vehicles: if you dont know when the trans was flushed last, stick with drain and refills. supposedly keeps from potentially breaking loose some gunk/debris that could cause issues after a flush

+1 to the AISIN kit, they are (partially) owned by Toyota and most likely the OE supplier for all the parts in the kit

I would also replace the radiator and hoses if they haven't been done recently, it's all gonna come out anyways
DENSO 2213125 (also partially owned by Toyota and an OE supplier)

I also replaced my fan blade, the fan clutch, and fan bracket/pulley but I'm OCD and hate putting old crap back on
AISIN FCT075 & FBT002 & FNT014

As mentioned you can get all of it on rockauto and save some money by not getting Toyota branded boxes
