Timing belt part list

For the upcoming 2nd timing belt job and 200,000 mile service, I plan to do it myself and now in the process of planning, what parts should I get? My list:

- Timing Belt ( 1st one changed at 95,000 miles by the dealer).
- Water pump and gasket (I am still running the original pump).
- 2 Idlers (still running original ones).

- All plugs
- Air filter
- Replace front/rear/transfercase gear oil.
- Grease the driveline

I've just replaced the accessory belt today so will not replace it. What other parts do I need? What else should I do when am at it?

It's a little easier if you pull the thermostat housing, then you'd need at least a new gasket, may want to do the t-stat as well. Don't forget the anti-freeze/coolant.

It's also a good idea to replace the front crankshaft seal while you're there. The problems come if the timing belt crankshaft pulley doesn't slide right off. You also need a tool to install the seal, a large socket will work, or some plastic pipe fittings can be found that are the right size.

i'd add the following to your list:

-timing belt tensioner pulley
-upper radiator hose
-lower radiator hose
-thermostat
-the two o-rings & gasket that go with the thermostat housing
-there are a couple small coolant hoses that go with the oil cooler - you have to remove them (or at least get them out of the way) while on the way to the t-belt - I'd recommend replacing them as well as long as you are in their.
