Alright guys so some of you have seen it and some of you haven't and for that reason here she is. I picked up an FJ62 a few months back with the intentions of making the needed repairs and then possibly selling it, which might still be the case. Details of the rig our listed in the link below. Some of you may know the previous owner Jason Peter's (his FJ45LV was on the cover of the January/February TT). He did a phenominal job building this truck up for an expedition vehicle and I intend on getting things back in shape to follow his path with the build. There is some rust as it was a Rhode Island vehicle for quite some time but for trail purposes it will do the trick.

I drove the truck this past weekend down to Jason Traylors house and after making the needed transmission repairs (swapped the A440 with a newer low mileage one) and getting some wiring figured out she did well. Looks like once I get new tires on the truck in the coming weeks that it might solve the out of balance we were having on the highway but all in all it drove well. Got around 10-12 mpg during the trip doing a calm 65-70.

Future plans will be to get the body cleaned up a little (not much) and tune in all the upgrades. Then hit the trails.

Looks like we are getting quite a diverse collection in the club.

Thats a sweet ride. Its got a few of the things I really like/want. I love the 80 wheels, and the front fender protection. Its on a short list I have.

Look forward to seeing it in person too.

Sweet man! Glad to hear it drove well going down to Jason's...
