Doing pads and rotors on my '99. Has anyone tried the kits offered by duiser.com? (http://duiser.com/shop/100-series-brakes-2/100-series-performance-rotors-pads-front-rear-axles/)

I lean heavily toward OEM. A long time ago I tried the aftermarket for a brake job on a car I owned and regretted the hell out of it and ended up redoing it in <1000 miles. I can stand warping, noise and the feel of crap brakes. Trying to keep an open mind. Is there anything out there that beats OEM for pads and rotors on a light duty DD?

Stoptech. Slee sells them or you can buy off Amazon too. Installed them on all fours corners with pads. Very happy. Will put them on the other truck too.

Been happy with DBAs and stock OEM pads all around.

I have it. It's not Stoptech, it's 360 Performance Rotors. I've been very happy with the rotors and the customer service when they were Jonesys.

I run OEM pads though. They're hard to beat, IMO.

I've been happy with Centric Premium rotors and Akebono ceramic pads. The rotors are blanchard ground and bed in quickly using the Zeckhausen panic stop method:

The pads are quiet and what little dust they produce, is nearly the same color as the alloy wheels. Not quite as much bite as OEM pads but once they're warmed up they perform very well.

Lots of good aftermarket brake parts out there for sure. I've got Akebono pads on the LX and happy with them. While I used StopTech rotors on the LC, I would certainly try DBA too. Centric has a good name as well. Plenty of good options listed here.

I've used Powerstop before and had no issues. I would recommend purchasing them from Rock Auto as it saved me a few hundred bucks on the overall package and they have a pretty good selection as well.

Run from Powerstop pads. Junk. Ask me how I know.

I believe even Slee stopped carrying them some time ago as the pads were inconsistent at best.

I don't know how a Powerstop rotorsand OEM pad combo would be.

Just saw this, drilled and slotted rotors are all about preventing warping (we drive heavy vehicles), and we sell ceramic pads for additional stopping power preferring Raybestos as a premium solution. Replacing your rotors and pads with this setup is a rewarding job as you can feel the difference immediately.

Anyone know what happened to Duiser? I ordered some brakes for my 80 and they have sent a tracking number or replied to any emails. Joel Jones says he sold the company but his name is still on the domain contact so I'm sceptical he actually sold it. Anybody have a phone number for these guys?

Wow, I just was going to ask the same question as nugalonius.

I also ordered their Stage II rebuild, really wanting to contribute to this company after they did such a good job offering the how-to videos etc.

Well, they took my money and still no rotors, no replies. I did receive a partial order of bearings from Just Differentials, so I was wondering if they had any contact info, and that proprietor was super friendly and tried to be as helpful as possible ( I have had a good experience with Just Differentials out of Cashmere, WA in case anybody was wondering ) and he gave me this number --> 800.686.1948 as a possible contact for duiser.com.

I've tried to call that 800 number and it does nothing. No ring or anything. Going to dispute the charge and send back the partial kit I received from just differentials. I'll let you guys know how it all turns out

As I dug just a bit I think I found a number that actually rings and the voicemail says it's him. He's 69rambler on ih8. Hope this helps

Reply from duiser after Joel Jones called the owner regarding my order.

Ryan, we had a very unusually high sales volume mid April and your inquiry did not get handled as timely as it should have. Our apologies. Everything for your order will ship Today and tomorrow 2nd day priority mail.

I spoke with Dustin (new owner of Duiser) today. There has been a few bugs in their transition, but Dustin is committed to making everything right. He was very concerned about customer service and wanted to be sure everyone was taken care of. He is not new to the offroad market and he will be involved with 100s in the Hills this year. I expect nothing less than top quality products and top shelf customer service. 100s in the Hills would not be involved with them if we thought anything less.
