Very nice cruiser, wish my 4,500 mile 76 looked that good. While it wasn't used a plow truck at a dealership it spend it's life parked outside in the desert before I bought it.

He is right that the 78 had a grey fold down leg on the jump seats. It was the first year of the fold down leg and they were always grey. 78 started the model year with the fold down and the pad that previous models had that rested on the wheel well. That supports later 78 model, believe around April or May is when the pads were discontinued. The Production date is right there on the A pillar plaque. Or can use one of charts online that have month/year the production date using the VIN. Not sure how rare the side defrost vents are. In my parts I have a 78 cowl with them.

John, I just love your knowledge on the specs. You should be working the same gig with cruiserdan IMO.
