Tilt/telescope switch not working (1 Viewer)

Hey new here. We recently purchased an 08 gx470 with 58k to build an adventure tourer. The only issue is the tilt telescope switch does not function. The steering wheel auto retracts and extends so not a motor issue. I replaced the switch where it momentarily worked but stopped ( two toggles). I also installed a used ecu with no success. Fuses seem fine as all other electronics are working as the are shared.

Am going to take it to a shop and see if any codes are present for the switch and or ecu.

Any ideas?

I would get it fixed, adjust it to position, and have the shop that fixes it disable the entry/exit retraction. WAY better for longevity and you can disable it in techstream. Sounds like a switch problem (wiring to it) to me.
