So apparently there is an overlap of Parts between the LHD and RHD steering components. I am wondering what are steering specific and what overlaps. Anyone care to share this info?

Having just done my LHD TREs, here's my experience. Both the relay and tie rods are shorter on the LHD. The actual ends on the tie rod seem the same, but reversed. The pitman arm end of the relay rod is different though: the steering damper flange is in line with the post on the LHD and at a 90deg angle on the RHD version. I didn't look up part numbers, I just called SOR and ordered the LHD version and all went smoothly.

Just did the steering on my RHD 1990 HZJ73 and here are the parts I was able to figure out. At the end of the day I ordered all 4 joints in a kit from Cruiser Outfitters just to make sure everything fit.

45047-69085 Tie rod end (RH) - xref to 90-97 FJ80 & FZJ80
45046-69145 Tie rod end (LH) - no xref in NA
45044-69076 Steering rod end (RH) - no xref in NA
45045-69046 Steering rod end (LH) - 87-89 Land Cruiser FJ62

There is some overlap (not by my notes) but keep in mind many of the newer Toyota ends have longer threaded shanks so they won't thread all the way into original tubes. We have a bunch of specs and interchange info here:

Circling back on this... these are the ends that are LHD and RHD specific due to the taper for the steering damper and drag link being on opposite sides. I'm not right near them to confirm the other 2 ends are identical but as I recall they are. One could dig through the EPC to be sure or give us a shout and we can look it up in the EPC or compare physically.

It's not the easiest thing to see in the kit compilation pictures but you can spy the zerks for the adjustable DLE's (6x models shown) in these pics:

(Having pictures of all our parts is coming in handy :D)

We also stock the rebuild kit for the drag-link ends, they are the same LHD and RHD
