I am replacing my TRE’s and got to my final one but I’ve ran into a roadblock, the new tie rod doesn’t have this bolt that connects 1 end of the steering stabilizer to another. And the one on the old TRE won’t come off and looks as it’s like not supposed to come off... is it meant to come off or what else do I need to do? Thank you!

I got the other one out from the other end of my steering stabilizer just to compare and they look identical, just this one in the TRE seems like it wont come out without myself damaging it...

The stud in the hole on the shaft side is for the steering stabilizer. That comes with a steering stabilizer. So that stud will need to be removed and transferred to the new TRE.
Thank you, I just can’t get the stud out... should I just heat it up with a torch and start banging away? I don’t want to damage it

Hello,

Good job.

A little persuasion (read: heat,) a gear puller and you are all set. That stud usually comes out with a loud bang.
