Does anyone know if the 60 series tie rod is the same as the 75? The longer one on the hj75 is 1070mm. I believe the 60 series chassis is wider but are the tie rods the same? And it would be nice to know if the hzj75 tie rod fits the hj75? different diff and housing I know.

As far as I can see the hzj75 fits the hj75 only. No 60 series numbers match the 75 it seems with the tie rod, makes sense different chassis.

My hzj73 is around 1205mm from center to center of the ball joints/rod ends.
Not sure if tow in is up to spec but it gives a view for the overall dimension

60 Series is 1267 mm from tie rod end centre to centre.

That 60mm extra length in the rod would take away from adjusting range for the ends on a 70/75. Good to know. Thank you. Sometimes 60 series appear at the upull wreckers down here, but never 70 series.

The tie rod ends on a 60 are wound almost all the way in to achieve that separation. Looking at mine, there's about another 15 mm of thread if you combine both sides, so no way it would work. That's with genuine ends installed.

I don't think a genuine tie rod would set you back all that much. You could also cut down a 60 rod, but you'd need to tap the threads further (M23x1.5 for reference). The tap would probably not be much cheaper than a new rod.
