Maybe I've never noticed before but while driving, should the automatic transmission shifter be able to move into neural or low without depressing the thumb button?
I accidentally bumped the shifter handle recently going about 10 mph and it popped into neutral. Should this happen without depressing the thumb button?
When key is on and engine not running, the thumb lock still requires me to push in to move into neutral.
I cant find any threads related to this issue - other than replacement of the handle.
