Thoughts on this 87 FJ60...

Plenty of white 60's here in Tx, although most have the grey interior. I'd be happy if I never saw the brown again.

I took a 2.5hr ride to Albany, NY to look at an 85 fj60, guy said "very little rust". When I got there every fender, door bottom, hood and tailgate had the running rot all over it. Sorry, but here in the Northeast everything rusts just sitting still. No rust may mean no "visibile" rust, but based on those wheel hubs and that fender picture I would "BEWARE OF THE BONDO". They sell it in 5 gallon pails in the grocery store up here! (LOL).

If it is truly rust and bondo free, buy it.

"very little rust" in NY state translates to "rusted out, scrap it" in Texas.

Rot along seams is nothing compared to 6" diameter HOLES caused by rust!

My buddy in Syracuse had an 80's Toyota pickup. If you slapped the bed (on the one rust-free spot), rust flakes would fall off all over. The V6 blew it's HG, so his shop bought it for plow duty. We held a wake for the truck the night before the tow truck showed up.
