Since OME didn't supply spacers for moving the bump stops down, is it reasonable to assume that their shocks would work on a stock to mildly lifted 60? Seems to me that this shouldn't be a problem.

Next is, these are 16mm pin versions. What is the vintage where the change happened?

I have an unused set of mediums that a guy is interested in, but I want to do my best due diligence to not sell him stuff he can't use.

I see no reason that they would not work, i havent dropped my bumpstops and i certainly stuff my tires all the way, so there should be no interference with a stock setup. It would be easy to measure though, have him measure the length of the shock at ride height and the distance to the bumpstop, that will tell you for sure.

I broke a shock tower when I used OME shocks on a stock FJ60. Could have been the tower was cracked already, did not look. I would think that OME shocks on a mildly lifted spring set would do better.
