What mounts are you using for both, as they are different in size. The water can is almost an 1" taller than the Fuel can.

What are your likes?
Dislikes?
Would you change anything?

I've been working on a prototype that will secure both cans, tightly and safely. Mount to any rack and most a direct fit. Position,iInstall hardware and mount.

Can be stacked side by side with zero gap, or end to end.

Before I go forward, looking for input from those that know and use them.

Thanks

Shane

I have an African Outback holder however it being a dual holder it's tough to just carry one. Also it does adjust as the two base pieces can slide on the rack and make it able to fit the water cans. It's far from the best design but it's what I have.

A single holder that fits both water and fuel would be nice, especially if it's designed to be able to mount inside :D

Where do you want to mount it inside?? Top of drawers?

My OCD lead me down the road and out of the box thinking, I finally found a way to hold both cans, with the same unit. Mount to just about any rack (calculated hole placement) with adjustable latch with safety tether and key pin. Mounting hardware is nested inside for a clean look.

I just don't want to miss anything basic and want it to be option rich and build everything in the first time.

I can solve your problem much easier, hand me over the hard to use, completely unpractical AO roof rack, and then you will be free to get a new setup.
