According to their their oversized load size requirements I fall one or two inches under. No roof rack. One way trip for the vehicle is $175 which is much less then the gas would cost. We will see how it will work. Ed

Will do. I am planning to take and post pictures of the whole trip. I hope one of the pictures is me crying while they turn me away from the auto train for too tall of a vehicle. Or of me being towed back to camp by my team partner who is taking a rover. Ha ha

I am taking my 62 I think as it rides a lot nicer and i can sleep inside if need be.

I will give you the guy who is running the events email. His name is Peter vollers and yes I think a lot of near stock vehicles do it. From looking at pictures of the event it seems wet and muddy conditions are present, it may be wise add a winch to your rig at minimum and a rear locker wouldn't hurt anything.

Yes they recommend winches on at least one vehicle of your team. They say it is wet that time of year up there.
