'85 FJ60
'88 Chevy 350
700R4 auto trans
Landcrsuier transfer case
NP203 gear reduction box
AC system has to be recharged.
Paint oxidation issues on hood and roof.
A few spots of minor surface rust where paint has
chipped.
Minor dents and scrapes as detailed in photos.
One small crack in dash.
Dashboard oil pressure gauge inoperable
(auxiliary oil pressure gauge in oil compartment).
Hi beam switch not working right. Hi beams work
(can flash them), but they will not remain on with
switch in hi beam position.

Front seat covers have been on since I bought the
vehicle, so I can't vouch for the condition of
the front seats.
Rear bench seat in very good condition.
Headliner in very good condition.
Windshield / windows in very good condition.
Interior door panels in very good condition.
Carpet in fair condition.
Rear cargo area has rubber-like covering.
Hella H4 headlamps.
Underbody rock lights for nighttime wheeling.
Quick disconnect front sway bar for better
articulation.
Quick disconnect rear mud flaps.
Old Man Emu suspension and steering stabilizer.
Recently replaced fuel pump / fuel filter.
Sound insulation underneath carpet.
Custom rear storage boxes.
Fold-down bench seat.
Heavy duty skid plate protects transmission and
transfer case.
One cracked taillight and one cracked reflector.
Front and rear ARB lockers.
ARB compressor.
Power steering.
Power brakes.
Manual windows.
Manual locks.
Remote starter solenoid (Chevy engines are
notorious for not starting when hot, because the
solenoid on the starter overheats).

Custom front bumper.
Custom rear bumper (designed to hold compressed
air, but not connected).
Custom rock sliders (designed to hold compressed
air, but not connected).
Warn M8000 winch.
Hand throttle (can set throttle to above idle it
doing very slow offroading).
Dual battery system (uses 2 Optima Red Top
batteries).
Old Blaupunkt cassette stereo, think the speakers
are original.
CB radio and Firestick antenna.
Tires have lots of tread left (33" BF Goodrich
All Terrain).
Suspension lift and body lift.
Large gas tank.
Fuel gauge never reads full, probably due to the
non-stock gas tank.
Runs fine on 87 octane gas.
Chevy engine/computer On Board Diagnostic (OBD)
port in fuse compartment.
DSC00622 resized for mud.webp

Nice - what are they asking?

Are there three sticks to the right of the transmission?

Peter

yes there is 3 sticks, $10,250

Fig. 9: ’96 GM full size Van tank with ’88 TBI intank electric fuel pump and factory ‘96 GM sender. Tank was miss-labeled at junk yard (yellow writing). Stock Toyota L/C sender at lower right corner.

Fig. 36: 4wd switch, hi/lo for t-cases. Left is L/C case, left lever in cab. Right is for ’73 GM 203 gear reduction box, middle lever in cab. Front driver shaft – ’75 L/C FJ40 4spd rear cut to fit. ’73 3spd case has 4spd case flange installed.

Fig. 31: Full floater rear. Housing is stock FJ60 with gussets welded on. Axle housing can be converted back to stock semi-float if needed. Adapter ring mounts stock Toyota front-end parts, Spindles bearings etc. Brakes are solid rotor ’85 Toyota pick-up. Can be upgraded to vented like fronts if you installed new “vented” calipers also. Same bearings, spindles, rotor housings and hubs will fit in all four corners

Also i was sent a pretty cool build sheet and here are some of the specs there also. sry no pics of this again becasue of the internet blocks here

Looks good. One certainly could not buy and install all that gear for the price that you are paying.

good price for what you are buying if it's done right. be sure to check on that. suspension is going to ride hard since your shackles are straight up and down. also, look under the carpet where the shifters are and see what he did there and why there's no shift boots.

same as with any conversion, check all welds and make sure the conversion was clean.

I found out the conversion was done buy a place in Washinton called stealth conversions, and the more i dig up and ask the owned the more and more i really love the way it was done, here is the detais on the shifters see if this might answer your questions

Fig. 59: Also see Fig 36. L to R; 203 t-case H/L, ’73 L/C 3spd t-case H/L and 2wd/4wd lever. You have way more leverage than needed to activate levers. Grab close to base and gently shift. When going in and out of 2wd/4wd try to be rolling. Must be in neutral or park to go from H/L in any t-case. Cables can be adjusted by lifting carpet are repositioning brass pivots.

useing cables to moveit not leverage, i like it. cheers

I think I saw that same rig on craigslist, I belive its in SoCal.
BTW, I'm diggin the front bumper.

I wish we had cruisers like that over here.............I like it. Double transfers are not common over here.

Very well put together by the look of it, I would buy it

Paul

i cant wait till i get home to drive it and see how it does, any luck looks like a rubithon run this year. cheers

Just found this looking for Full Float info. Herb's old rig. I tried to buy it, but by the time I got funding together some sumb beat me to it! :)
What I bought instead:

From the starting gate I knew that a V8 would be required for my uses.
Chappy, Do I recall correctly - is that not a stock radiator in there? If so I'd like to take a look at how it was done sometime. I'm in Vta.

hey bro i am driving mine all over town, just let me know anytime i can come by or you come by my house. no this rad. is not stock, it is out of a full size van if i remember right.
