Agreed. Love my LRA. Also get a code reader to clear the inevitable evap codes…
Knocking on all the wood right now… I’m 40k miles in with mine and have not had any issues so far.

I purchase items to use, not to store and look great. For me, what’s the point in having such a capable vehicle that you will won’t thoroughly enjoy and make memories with if it sits in the garage and it’s not used? I have high end bikes that I beat the piss out of because that’s what they are designed for. I bought them to use and get the most of it. I’m not a serious off roader but took my 200 on the beach consistently and now do the same with my 600. If it beaks, I’ll fix it. My buddy bought a 2024 Raptor R, it sits in the garage when it rains and it’s never scene any type of dirt…to me that’s insane and he hears it from me every time I go to the beach (which I’m heading out for today) And I send him pics calling him a Cũnt. You bought it, use and enjoy the hell out of it, it’s a special vehicle that we all can appreciate. Those who know, know.

Edit….this is why we do it. Perfect out today.

What is a life not lived.

Do it. You bought the car, like many of us I assume, to enable all the potential adventure and memories it'll bring. The value of the vehicle is in its ability to serve that purpose. Yet these things hold value so well, that'll it'll keep its value if you take care of it. Don't let potential maintenance scare you as it's a robust Toyota Land Cruiser. Just as the sister Lexus's are never too nice to take off-road.

Use it as and don't wait for a build. It doesn't need much and surely bumpers are not required. Let your own use case inform you on modifications rather than building it in the image of someone else's Instagram post. Mods should earn their way on and it is easy to overbuild and make for a less enjoyable or reliable truck.

Enjoy the journey. Both in trips and build.
