My boots are in great shape, but appear to have been leaking from the little opening. So, I got a rebrand kit and thought I'd slide the boots back, check / add a little grease, and reband. However, this grease is obviously broken down and water logged.

im really not in the mood to pull the axles.

Would it be okay to just clean best I can and fill with grease?

Hi had the same chocolate milk out of mine. I squirted more in and rebranded. It lasted a year before my boots split.

I'm hoping this maintenance removes the whine I've been hearing.

It won't r move the whine. That's work hub and axle flanges. They wear over time. I'm going to R&R and repack the bearings.

What??

Can someone translate?

Clean really well with brake cleaner or degreaser til it's nice and shiny. Add favorite grease.
