Thinking of selling....

The neighbors are unhappy (I live in a condo) about my 40 sitting outdoors behind the garage. My wife's car gets the garage. So, as much as I hate to, been thinking that it may be time to let her go. She's a 3/1980, originally from Florida, via West- by- God Virginia. The good: mini PS, new Toyota gas tank, new rear crossmember courtesy Cruiser Solutions, new Toy front bib, freshly rebuilt 2F engine w/emissions installed (runs great), a/c (not installed, old dealer install, came in it new, I think), no rear heater, frame excellent, tires good (rims are steelies), new windshield, new rear drum (CCOT) brakes, new stock muffler, good front fenders (one slightly dented, no rust), new front bumper, decent hood, almost new jack, tools w/case. Truck runs great, stops. The bad: It's ugly, standard rust, but not as bad as most, good hardtop with PO installed twin spotlights removed, doors OK, but not great but glass good, with all trim panels, amby doors fair to poor, but glass good, side panels OK, one w/o window, both corner widows intact. Asking $3900. If there's any interest, I can post some pics. :crybaby:Ned

Tell your neighbors to go **** themselves.

Do you really want to sell it? If you do, go for it. If not, tell your neighbors to get a life.

If my neighbors pressured me to sell anything, I'd show up with a sh!tbox LTD suitable for demolition derby action, or an ex-cop car, or an old Volvo 245...

Exactly. I hope the ones in your sig weren't sold due to the " look " from your neighbors  Al

nodaksn3, look at my signature line. That will tell the tale of what you will experience if you sell.

Thanks guys. really hate to sell, I've had it for 13 years! It's like the family. Heck, I've only been married for 11. Sold my '81 when I was in Colorado, and have regretted it ever since. Maybe I'll just get a cover..... :DNed

Now your talking. I just bought mine in December, rushed to get it on the road and man I love it. Doors off. top off, two tracking, nothing beats it. Look these are classics whether it is in showroom condition or if is being eaten by mother nature. Classics. I just wish I had purchased one sooner.

What are we purchasing?? we need pics if you want to sell.

You should be able to have it stored someplace close by for like $30-$50 per month.

many towns in MA have rules about the number of cars, registered or not, that are allowed in a yard. Others allow only one unregistered vehicle. call the town hall. North Andover is a bit on the high-maintenance side so I appreciate the looks you're getting. Plenty of blue-bloods up that way....or people that think they are.

Buy an even s***ter condition one and park it next to yours. Wait a month then get rid of it. then nobody will complain

PM'ed you as well
