I am looking into upgrading to a 2017 200 series and getting out of my 2008. Testing the waters to see if I could get at least 34K for mine. This is what it has

2008 with 122,000 miles
Salsa red with gray interior
OEM spacer with new OEM struts up front. (about 3,000 miles on them)
Firestone airbags in the rear OEM springs
ARB rear with spare tire and jerry can carriers
White Knuckle off road sliders
Snorkel
5 RW rims with 285/70/17 Nitto terra grappler G2
Underbody in good condition
OEM skid plates
OEM roof rack
Spark plugs changed about 4,000 miles ago
All fluids recently flushed
Upgraded OEM stereo with Bluetooth and nav bypass
Rear drawer system in place of 3rd row. Still have the seats
Blueseas fuse panel underhood with power at rear drawer system
CB wire run from tire carrier to dash
Do not have interior pics, but all seats in good condition. No tears

So ... what's up with the snorkel? Did you have one and then removed it? Patched/re-painted the fender?

With the mods the price seems reasonable.

Why not wait another year to see if the 300 comes out in 2018? If you want a 300 I imagine the price will be similar to a 2017, and if not then I imagine the 2017 pricing will drop quite a bit when dealers try to clear it off their lots since it's the "prior generation". When I was looking there was a fairly significant price jump between 1997 and 1998 and again between 2007 and 2008

Fair asking price, no mods that is a 27-28k truck. I would expect low 30's for your's is acurate but not a deal for someone.

I am picking up my 2017 on Monday morning. Let me know if you have any questions!

Where did you get your time machine?

I would hold out and see what the 300 brings first. You'll always be able to buy the current gen almost new. There's still 10 new '15s available.

I picked up a new 15' and as mentioned there are a few still out there for sale. So there will be deals to be had on left over 16's and eventually 17's. If you like your current rig hold out to see what come with the next model year or 300 series. iI you really like the updated 200 and get your price for your rig go for the 17'.

As to price on yours, I looked at used 200's before getting my 15'. I'd say your right around 30k-ish private sale, trade-in lower, dealers will not value the mods and may even give you a lower price bc of them. Good luck!

I bet you can get low $30's. I just bought my truck, almost pulled the trigger on an '08 with no mods. 120k miles for $29,9k.

I would assume most were willing to pay a little extra for the mods.

I bought my 08 two years ago with only 48k...for #39k...
Literally perfect...with not even so much as dust on the white paper part stickers underneath...
So my extra $10k (over your $29k0 bought me 60,000 un-driven miles...)
