Those are 50+ year olds... But that's how young you will feel if you buy that model! LOL :D

I like the underside photo. I never knew so much of it was protected. Is it the same plastic that's on the 100 series or is it aluminum?

I'm a 30 something...do I have to give mine back?

No...you have to give it to me and I'll give it back. ;)

So a fair amount of changes, but is this the mid-cycle refresh?? Or does that come 2014?

I'm thinking it's not a mid cycle refresh because the engine hasn't changed, and the interior hasn't drastically changed. Historically both of those have changed in during the mid-cycle makeover.

There are many cool new features. I really like the side mounted cameras and the front camera with projected wheel path. I can see how this is very cool for offroading where are are trying to avoid or go over rocks, etc. The Laser guided cruise control is cool, but have had that since 07 in my infiniti. Notice the front emblem is actually glass and smooth (where laser system is mounted).

I love the LEDs and the HIDs, but the coolest feature is the turn assist and additional terrain options. Heated steering wheel could come in handy for all you Alaskans. :)

Will upgrade in a few years- no doubt.

BTW, if my wife was taller and I was shorter, and had more hair, that could be us in the photo. (The younger one.....) ha

They morphed the Land Cruiser into a Highlander.
Toyota seems to be making one body style in four different sizes.

A subtle bit of marketing there I'd say. Don't think its just chance that She is leading Him by the hand. The subtle message here is: "Mmmmmm. Now this is the kind of car a real man should be driving". Of course it could also be: "See, this is the one I want to pick up the kids with". Either way the guy's a pussy and shouldn't be allowed near a cruiser:ban:.

I am not sure what is happening but in Raleigh and at the coast, I have seen more 2013's in the last months than the 2008 to 2012 models. Maybe it was trade in time for the leases. Maybe it is the air con seats or maybe it is the higher price. Probably just the round fogs that are more recognizable.

What are the other 2 sizes? I see the similarities between the Highlander and the Cruiser, but I also see the similarities between my 96 Lx450 and my LC200.

I'm thinking Sequoia, Land Cruiser, Highlander, and Rav4. They're all taking on the same lines. :D

Except one of this has a large, uh, "engine" under the hood and is not afraid to use it. The others- the fat cousin and the shorter siblings. Land Cruisers Rule.

The new SQ looks nothing like the 200. It looks like a bloated Dodge - they need to kill the SQ. I see some similarities to the Highalander but come on, put them side by side in person - very different designs.

Truth is spoken here.

Toyota has been rationalizing design over the last 2 design periods.

Plan on most vehicles looking very similar to each other to bring down die/stamping costs as well as manufacturing costs.

Whether that's a good thing or not, is up to the buyer.
