Well, I got the rest of the wiring done today, well except the brake controller (asap), deep cycle charger, and backup light (future).

Here's what I replaced.

Well last thing before a test run is order some weather seal. The other stuff was too thin. I'll try NAPA saturday. I don't really want to order online because I have no idea what I'm ordering and fear several returns before I got it right...

Sorry Master gillz..you know I'm you're biggest fan by just couldn't let this one slide by....lolololol

BTW..looks Good!! ;)

YOu crack me up. That is a temp pin I made with some 5/8 rod I had laying around to pull it around the house so I wouldn't have to keep unlocking the locking silent hitch pin I've got.

Cant wait to get out w/ it. May be going to Arizona over the holidays...

Its getting pretty cold in the mt's here.

I like the results,, looks great,, and your hitch pin(truck end)is great. That style rarely fails.. Just a note tho,, they should go from the drivers side to the pass side.. that way in case you forget the pin or lock tab, or the pin falls off the vibration wont drive it out,, the crown of the road will keep it in, or drive it in farther,, in theory..
Still haven't figured out exactly who "they" are and why "they" seem to know everything,, but one day,,,

Keep up the great work,,

Nice looking trailer... awesome build....

Yah might want to use some of that 3M rubberized under coating for the underside of the trailer and wheel wells.

I just powder coated a used trailer I bought from another mudder to match my strong blue FJ60 and bought about $60 worth of this stuff.. I dont know how well it will hold but I figure some protection is better than no protection.

I enquire about Line-X but they want a lotta $$ for their product...

What size brakes are you running and what controler are using or planning to..??

Thanks !!

Your slipping Master Gillz...I've waited just about as long as I can for a friggin update...let's get on the stick and see some live action shots (plus there's no way I'm lettin' this build slip into the abyss of Page 2 of threads...just too much damn work went ito it):beer::beer::flipoff2:

I mean maybe you updated that 10d nail to a 12d or something significant like that....lol

I pulled it by hand from the back driveway to the front! lol does that count? I am out of trailer funds, and in the midst of winter funk, getting cabin fever already... still need proper weather seal, and to pack it up...but I don't see much use till spring, we are going to arizona in march...that's a long wait. who knows...

Send me some cash and i'll take it to Sedona next week! :D

Hey look who's back...what a long winter...going to phoenix through the long way southern UT this friday, got the brake controller in this weekend and some odd's and ends...can't wait!

Glad you're back. Been following your build. Nice Job! Updates?

Well, I installed a Tekonsha Prodigy in the jeep, and an interior light in the main box, as well as the license plate light. I was hoping to have a Partner steel stove with shelf built in the kitchen but ran out of funds for this trip. That will be the next thing.

I will get some new pics in here maybe when we get back.

Thanks guys.

Well that was a resounding success!!

I started out with the tounge out the 3 feet that it adjusts for freeway stability, we got the worst gas milage of the trip, after I shortened it up at the first small highway/dirt road in Utah, I never returned it to long mode, and it was just as smooth on the freeway at 75-80 mph.

It is awesome to be able to make and break camp in <2hours each!! And that is without some sure fine tuning and added conveniences that will be happening throughout the summer. Here are the mostly trailer centric pictures here, and I will post again some more trip pics in the completed adventures section. We had a blast.

Leaving in the not too early AM.
