well when one makes HISTORY in the Land Cruiser world , i suppose its ok to say something small about that special Teq moment so all can share and join in on the

celebration in the small but ever growing 80 Series community spirit level if you follow me here .........


for me , its super sweet because i spent more then a few R&D hours making sure i knew enough of the Metallurgy and chemistry behind making this happen

also , made dam sure my claim about the HISTORICAL topic was indeed accurate ...

i should state a fact here , ALL 80 series key blanks OEM are Solid NICKLE , so my gold plated keys are simply Plated over the SOLID NICKLE



the Chemistry TECH. behind this plating process and the steps by steps by the book were done in such a way that the GOLD Plating ZINC finish is well ....


DURABLE as all get out and tough as nails too ..........

i just completed PLATING this ENTIRE 1FZ-FE because the head gaskets failed and its still a youngster under 69K
